Softball

Description

The RI Softball Team plays competition softball during the schools' season which begins in January and lasts till August. We compete in the National Schools' Softball Championships, the South Zone Softball Tournament and the Singapore Recreation Club (SRC)'s Softball Carnival. We welcome players of all levels of experience. Those interested normally go through a sport profiling test conducted at secondary one, during which they are assessed for their batting, catching and sprinting skills.

In the last seventeen years since the arrival of our present coach, the RI Softball team has won ten B division and ten C division titles (and 6 second placings in both divisions) in the Singapore Schools' National Softball Championships. That's a phenomenal feat -- a proud tradition that we are determined to uphold.
