Raffles Players
Description
Raffles Players is Raffles Institution's English Drama group.
Members of Raffles Players are involved in two major production projects each year. The annual school production is often held in April and this is where they will apprentice to learn the staging of a play through hands-on experience. Then, at the inter-house Drama Feste in July, the students take on full leadership in producing their house plays as they write, direct and act in performances of their own creation. Participants are also expected to act as stage managers, handle backstage and technical duties, design publicity materials and even sell tickets all on their own. The full process of drama - from page to stage - is what members in Raffles Players will experience.
