Malay Cultural Club

Description

Raffles Institution Malay Cultural Club was set up in 1964 to build integration among the Malay students in Raffles Institution (RI) and with other Malay Cultural Clubs from other schools. The aim of this club is to encourage the Malay students in RI to be familiar with the Malay culture through the many activities planned and implemented.

Our Motto
We run our programmes based on these three Malay words: ITHAR, ILTIZAM and INTEGRASI.

ITHAR: To sacrifice self for others
ILTIZAM: To be committed enthusiastically and responsibly
INTEGRASI: To promote unity among different races

These values are inculcated into each members of the club so that it can benefit them in the future, in their careers and services for the community.
